Aaron is HUNGRY!

This video is actually from his first or second week. It's a little dark because the lights were out initially, but basically Aaron is hungry and we are waiting for his bottle to heat up. Andrew decides to try to comfort him by laying Aaron on his chest (which he usually likes a lot). But Aaron starts to get really hungry, climbs up Andrew's chest and starts looking for milk! He sucks on Andrew's neck, face and ear and upon finding no milk, cries in frustration. Don't worry, once his milk is warm and he is fed, he is a happy baby :) This is for you, Cathy!

Daddy's birthday

For Andrew's 31st birthday, we continued our tradition of going out for peking duck (my favorite!). We tried a new place in Chicago and it was delicious! Our meal included duck, duck soup and duck fried noodles among other tasty dishes. We enjoyed our dinner while Aaron slept peacefully in his car seat.

Then we went home for black forest cake... and Aaron helped Daddy blow out the candles!

The next day we celebrated at a local restaurant with some friends.

Aaron's first Christmas!

We spent Aaron's first Christmas in Chicago with Grandpa and Nana. Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas :)

Our gentle giant was a soft and warm cuddle buddy for Aaron. She actually stayed perfectly still and patiently waited for us to get some good shots in. :) As usual, George stayed close to the fire and looked on... looks like Aaron is part of the pack!

Aaron - One Month!

Aaron is now one month old... and according to his last doctor's appointment, a healthy 11 lbs, 9 oz.

Finally getting around to posting some pics!  Aaron's had a fairly uneventful first month... mainly consisting of eating, sleeping and being held by adoring family members and friends.
