Candace a-yi visits again!

Came for a short trip to celebrate Janice's birthday and see how the kids are doing. =)  Here are some of the pics I took!

Zoe can pull herself up to standing now!
Looks like she's just sitting on her leg here... wow.

Aaron and Auntie Kimmy's drawing

A couple of weeks ago (actually the day before Logan decided he had enough of being in her belly...), Auntie Kimmy came over to make some onesies for her little boy.   Before she came over, I asked Aaron whether he wanted to color with Auntie Kimmy.  He answered with an enthusiastic, "YEAH!!!"

As we were waiting for the paint to dry on Logan's onesies, Aaron asked Auntie Kimmy to draw him.  She then drew a very good likeness of his face, which he loved.

Aaron:  "I need a belly."   (So Auntie Kimmy drew a belly.)
Auntie Kimmy: "Look I gave you a belly button too!"  (Aaron cracks up, loving this.)  "Can you draw a neck?"
Aaron: "OK!"  (He draws two lines for his neck! Auntie Kimmy and I were thoroughly impressed, and I have never seen him draw anything resembling anything other than a blob, scribble, or "circle" before.)
Auntie Kimmy:  "Can you draw arms?"
Aaron: "OK!"  (We are even more impressed.)
Auntie Kimmy:  "Can you draw legs?"
Aaron: "Um... yes!" (We are even MORE impressed.  Auntie Kimmy proceeds to tell me that Aaron, at age 3, should be able to draw 3 body parts.  He has just drawn 5, so he seems advanced!  I am exceptionally proud of my little artist... but, Aaron realizes something is missing...)
Aaron:  "I need a pee-pee!"  (He proceeds to draw an additional - notably shorter - appendage between his legs... he beams and looks to us for approval.  We are laughing hysterically, which makes him more proud of his addition.)
We inform Aaron that, though anatomically correct, his drawing is a little inappropriate and ask him to please put on some underwear.
Aaron:  "OK!"

The final result... !
